sleepy story

Testimonial from Eric and Rebecca Bana

“Our 7 year old son has always had a hard time getting to sleep. He seems to come alive at night, and tells us he just feels too ‘stimulated’ to fall asleep. The lack of sleep was making him very cranky in the morning (not a good start to the day for any of us) and was also making him too tired to concentrate at school. After trying loads of different things including putting him to bed later, putting him to bed earlier, restricting any sugar in the evenings, banning all TV, etc, my lovely friend Tottie gave us her “A Sleep Story” CD. We tried it on both our children. The four year old, who has no problem getting to sleep, was asleep in about 2 minutes. My son took a while longer but it settled him right down and he fell asleep very easily by the end. We often put the CD on for our son when he hops into bed at night. Although he still doesn’t fall straight to sleep, he is able to unwind very easily making it easier for him to be asleep by a reasonable hour. He loves the story and enjoys escaping into his imagination. We also get the kids to listen to A Sleep Story sometimes during the day when they are over-excited, when they are starting to fight with each other, and when they just need to slow down a bit. I think all children could benefit from the calming effects of this beautiful CD. Tottie has the most wonderful soothing voice which lulls children to their imaginations. She encourages them to put their problems aside for a while and just relax. With all the stimulation and stresses of everyday life it’s lovely for kids to have some peaceful time where they can get lost in their own thoughts. Tottie I think we need one for adults!”

“As the proud mother of three extroverted, energetic girls, bed time has often been a battle of wills. But even after listening for the first time, my children were begging to go flying with Tottie. She’s really hit on something special here and has harnessed the magic of our dreams. Bed time is now the happiest, most relaxing part of our day. Remember just look for the fairy lights and you’ll always find your way back to your bed!”
